Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We at Stroud Water Research Center recognize the importance of and celebrate diversity. We understand how creative ideas and discoveries are often born from a diverse mix of minds, backgrounds, and experiences. In honor of this, we have embarked upon an intentional commitment to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment, ensure equitable access to knowledge and stewardship opportunities, and to better understand the interrelationships between social injustices and environmental degradation.

We strive to actively promote diversity across all levels of our organization. Our ultimate goal is to embody a welcoming spirit for all our activities.

Stroud Water Research Center does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, citizenship status, parental status, health status or disability, marital status, membership in an employee organization, political affiliation, military service, and/or any other characteristic or category protected by applicable local, state, or federal laws.

Please direct questions, comments, or concerns about our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts to our diversity committee chair, Melinda Daniels, Ph.D., or our executive director, David Arscott, Ph.D.
